The adult First Aid/CPR/AED course will enable you to know both how and when to perform CPR. You will learn the steps needed and gain the confidence necessary to provide this potentially life- saving procedure. How to effectively use an AED will also be covered. Accidents can happen at any time, so it is important to know how and when to use first aid. This class will provide the hands-on skills and "know how" that you will need to help people. Certification is good for 2 years.

Aspen Hiking Adventures provides expert training in First Aid and CPR through the American Red Cross, designed specifically for scouting groups. Our curriculum focuses on Wilderness and Remote First Aid, and CPR/AED. These two certifications are required for at least 3 members of every crew going to Philmont, Northern Tier, Sea Base, or Summit Bechtel.
